What is chronic pain and how to deal with it?

Defining chronic pain

Chronic pain is clinically defined as any type of pain that persists for more than three months. The pain can be consistently present at all times, or it can come and go. As long as you keep getting the pain for more than three months, it is typically considered chronic.

One of the main differences between chronic pain and other types of pain is that chronic pain is usually harder to treat. Acute pain is a type of pain you experience as a result of something.
