Review: Travall Dog Guard

This may seem a little weird but we don’t actually have a dog and we now have a dog guard in the car!

I had always assumed that a dog guard only comes in handy when you have a …… you guessed it, a dog.

But I couldn’t have been more wrong with my assumption.

When someone from Travall got in touch to see if we’d like to review a dog guard for our Ford C-Max Grand, I was intrigued to find out more!

I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to fit the Travall Dog Guard, it took me roughly 30 minutes. One great thing now that it’s fitted, I can remove the guard in seconds if I don’t need it for a particular journey and place it back just as quick as well.

I now know why you’d want a dog guard for your car, even if you don’t have a dog.

Safer Travels

One of the main positives of installing a dog guard in your car is to make travelling much safer for passengers in the back.

It’s not something that we tend to think about but thousands of people every year are injured by unsecured items in cars when sudden braking occurs.

If you have a full boot with items packed up to the roof, you definitely don’t want anything falling onto the backseat passengers during a car journey. Not only will this injure your passengers, it could distract you from the road ahead and cause an accident.

Any Good?

Yes, it is definitely good value for money and Travall offer a lifetime guarantee too.

As I’ve already mentioned, it was super easy to install and easier to take out/put back in.

It’s really sturdy and doesn’t rattle at all whilst driving which is great because it’s the worst feeling when you can hear a rattle but don’t know where it’s coming from!

Travall offer a wide range of dog guards to fit most cars so your more than likely to find a suitable guard for your car. This also means that the guard will fit nicely into your car, more so than other one size fits all products.

If you do have a dog, the only thing to consider with this product is the fact that your back seats remain exposed. So if your dog is likely to scratch at the back seats you may need to look at other options.

Overall though a really good high quality guard that guarantees safety for everyone travelling in your car and if you’ve never thought about buying a dog guard then I urge you to do so!
