Yoga in everyday life is a system of practice that includes eight levels of development in the areas of physical, mental, social and spiritual health. When the body is in good physical health, the mind is clear, focused and stress is under control. This gives you the space to connect with your loved ones and maintain socially healthy relationships. When you are in good health, you are in contact with your inner self, with others and with the environment on a much deeper level, which increases your spiritual health.
Yoga exercises have a holistic effect and balance the body, mind, consciousness, and soul. In this way, yoga helps us manage daily needs, problems, and concerns. Yoga helps develop a better understanding of ourselves, the purpose of life and our relationships. On the spiritual path, yoga leads us to supreme knowledge and eternal joy in the union of the individual being with the universal being.
One of the fundamental importance in life is the health of the body and for maintaining both the physical and psychologicalhealth, there are physical exercises (Asana), breathing exercises (Pranayama) and relaxation techniques. In “Yoga in Everyday Life”, the classics Asana and Pranayama are divided into an eight-level system, starting with “SarvaHitaAsanas” (which means “Exercises that are good for everyone”). Seven other parts follow this preparatory level and gradually guide the practice of Asana and Pranayama.
What we eat affects our body and our psyche, our habits and our qualities. Food is the source of our physical energy and vitality and that’s why yoga also teaches you what to eat and how to maintain a balanced diet. Yoga also promotes increased flexibility, increased muscle strength and tone, balanced metabolism, weight reduction, protection from injury, improved athletic performance and better cardio-circulatory health.
In general, the mind and the senses guide us through life which is not completely under our control. However, to take control of the mind, we must first put it into internal analysis purification. Negative thoughts and fears create an imbalance in our nervous system and therefore in our physical function. It is the cause of many illnesses and fines. Clarity of thought, inner freedom, satisfaction, and healthy self-confidence is the basis of mental well-being. That is why we strive to gradually overcome our negative qualities and thoughts, and our goal is to develop positive thoughts and behaviors.
Daily yoga offers different methods for achieving mental well-being: practicing mantra, respecting ethical principles, good company and studying inspirational texts to purify and free the mind. An important tool in self-inquiry and self-awareness is the “self-inquiry meditation” technique, a step-by-step self-analysis meditation technique. In this meditation practice, we come into contact with our subconscious, the source of our desires, complexes, patterns of behavior and prejudices. Practice guides us to become familiar with our nature, who we are and why we are, and beyond self-acceptance.
Yoga is a form of motivation
Yoga is more popular towards women these days and most of the people who involve themselves in yoga also tend to take part in various exercises promoting better physical and mental health. Many people turn away from exercising because of the problem with sweat and the smell that’s present afterward in the clothes. For others, the problem is essentially time and the combination of both can lead people away from better health. People who take part in yoga more often than not, wears yoga outfits like the designed yoga wear for women which eliminates the smell and sweat stain resulting from physical activities like various exercises and yoga poses. Yoga also increases motivation and positive energy through meditative exercises.
