Review: Men’s Freezeway III Insulated Jacket

It’s that time again. That time of year when we start to pull out the coats, scarves and gloves. This year, my everyday jacket of choice is definitely the Men’s Freezeway III jacket by Regatta, in the colour marl.

I am an active person and a dad of three children. So, I have decided on a jacket that I can wear on most occasions, is warm and durable. This Regatta jacket suits my everyday life, but I think it would be suitable for most people.

Your lifestyle will determine the type of winter jacket you invest in. But even if you are not an active person or a father. This Regatta jacket is padded and water-repellant. So, it is a must-have in your wardrobe, especially if you live in Britain. Which consists of rain and low temperatures.

This style of jacket will always be on-trend since athletic clothing is always seen as cool. It is definitely a wardrobe staple. I chose the colour marl, which is like a very light grey. This means I can pair this jacket with almost anything.

Now let’s get on why this jacket was a great purchase.

This Regatta jacket is 100% polyester. So it is very lightweight and would be the jacket I would take with me on a trip. It would enable me to pack light since it wouldn’t weigh much in my suitcase. It also wouldn’t feel heavy on me if I decided to wear this to the airport or during long car trips.

So, if you are going on a trip and need to pack light. This jacket would be the perfect option for you too.

The jacket is fit to size, and I have the size large. The stretchy cinched cuffs and collar are not too tight or loose, so the wind or rain won’t affect you as much.

I’d wear this jacket during autumn and early winter. For the colder winter months, I would probably have on extra layers under this jacket to really keep myself warm. Yes, this jacket is insulated. However, it never hurts to have other layers under your jacket during winter.

Regatta claims that this jacket has Warmloft insulation technology. This means that this garment was filled to maintain your warm body temperature. You could definitely wear this jacket without two or more layers of clothing under.

However, I like to keep it safe and avoid getting colds, so I will definitely be layering up. I do have to say though, this is a very warm jacket. Not so warm that I would wear this with just a t-shirt. But warm enough that I feel like I made a good choice.

This is one of those jackets that I would also go hiking with, wear it to the park with my family or just a general walk. It’s lightweight, so I wouldn’t overheat and if I do get too warm, I could easily carry this jacket with me, since it doesn’t weigh much.

Because it is 100% polyester, this jacket goes under my ‘dependable clothing’ list. Polyester makes clothing more durable, as it is easier to clean. If you also make the effort to be involved in your children’s activities, then this jacket is great. You can be fully immersed in creating memories with your family without fear of ruining your coat.

Would I recommend it?

Yes, it is a very practical coat to own.

The good thing about Regatta is that for the quality of their clothes, they are super affordable. This jacket and the rest of Regatta’s clothing are marketed for outdoor activities.

If you like camping or other outdoor activities, the Freezeway III jacket can be your staple and it’s very good value for money!

The Men’s Freezeway III jacket has a more athletic look. Since athletic clothing has become trendy, this means you can can wear it to social events, the gym, running errands or even work. Hence, this particular Regatta jacket would suit most people regardless of their lifestyle.

I will most definitely be wearing this jacket quite often.
