Taking up a new sport can be daunting, especially as you get older. Trying anything new can be scary when we’re set in our ways and worried about how we’ll look to other people. We worry that we won’t be very good, that people will laugh at us, that our bodies won’t be able to cope with the physical demands of increased activity and that we just won’t like it.
