Is it decorated and furnished how you would want it to be? I thought I would share with you some of the ideas you might want to incorporate into your very own man cave.
The all-important TV
Many people like to unwind watching something on the TV, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that this may be one of your main focuses of your man cave. However, you also need to think about whether it is something that will be fitted to the wall or whether you want to look at modern TV cabinets for living room spaces and keep it more contemporary.
Whatever you decide, you may also need to think about how and what kind of programs you watch. Any TV provider may need you to think about wiring to your new TV and location.
What about others ways to utilise your down time?
You don’t always need to sit down in front of the box to enjoy your down time, You may find that doing other things in your man cave makes it more intentional to help you de-stress. You may want to play a games console, so you can completely take your mind off things.
If you have space, you could always think about a pool table or a table where you and friends can get together for games or regular poker nights, if that is your thing. Or you may just like the idea of having a place to store your favourite books and enjoy reading them in a quiet place.
Think about decorating with calming colours
If relaxation is on your mind, then perhaps you want to consider keeping this as a priority when it comes to choosing colours to decorate your man cave or space in your home. Calming colours tend to be more neutral or pastel shades. However, you could choose to go in the opposite direction, keeping it dark. There are some great suggestions online for darker colours to paint your man cave.
